Jacqueline N. Walton is a Member of Reisman Sorokac. Practicing over a decade, Ms. Walton's practice focuses on commercial real estate and business transactional matters. Ms. Walton's comprehensive commercial real estate practice includes real estate acquisition and sales, land use/zoning entitlements and monitoring, leases, and due diligence and development guidance. Ms. Walton's business practice includes corporate structuring, contract drafting and negotiating asset purchases and sales, general outside counsel services and business and privilege licensing.

Practice Highlights

  • Represents a national, publicly-traded substance abuse treatment company in various matters, including:
    • $25 million purchase and sale with a leaseback for multiple locations
    • Acquisition and state licensure of a 148-bed modified medical detoxification facility
    • Asset purchase of an existing Las Vegas substance abuse treatment facility, which included the assignment of a commercial lease and obtaining State and local licensure
    • Land use approvals and local licensure for a sober living facility in conjunction with the acquisition of a local substance abuse treatment company
    • Assignment of 14 separate commercial leases as part of the asset purchase of an existing substance abuse treatment company
    • Assistance with real property matters for the refinancing of multiple properties pursuant to a $125 million credit agreement
  • Assisted a client with its entry into the Southern Nevada market, including its commercial real estate, zoning and corporate structuring needs for multiple locations
  • Represented multiple, locally-owned start-up restaurants in their private placement offerings, corporate structuring, privilege business licenses and commercial leases
